When to Contact Your Doctor: Recognizing Warning Signs

Contact your doctor immediately if you experience: severe dizziness or lightheadedness, rapid heartbeat, muscle weakness or cramps, excessive thirst or urination, unexplained weight loss, unusual tiredness or fatigue, skin rash, itching, or hives, swelling in your face, lips, tongue, or throat, yellowing of your skin or eyes (jaundice), or dark urine.

Signs Requiring Prompt Medical Attention:

These symptoms may indicate serious side effects and need immediate medical attention: difficulty breathing, chest pain, and sudden swelling in your ankles, feet, or legs. Don’t delay – seek immediate medical help.

Less Urgent, But Still Important:

While not immediately life-threatening, report these to your doctor at your next appointment: persistent nausea or vomiting, constipation or diarrhea, increased sensitivity to sunlight, or blurred vision. Open communication ensures optimal medication management.
